The Disability Resource Centre in association with Hope Restored are asking people to “Clear out their cupboards for Christmas” and donate any non-perishable food items which they will not use. The items will be donated to the local homeless community ensuring they have a meal this Christmas.

The campaign, which is now in its second year was very successful in 2017, as well as donating food to the homeless it also cuts down on food waste (how many times have we thrown out food because it is out of date). They have various collection points in the area where people can drop the food off.

They have collection points in

Conwy, Llanrwst, Llandudno, Colwyn Bay and Abergele Library’s

Natural Choice, The Village Farm Shop and Dinerth Stores in Rhos on Sea
