Denbighshire County Council is informing residents of changes to the waste and recycling collections over the festive period.
Monday, 24th December will see collections as normal. Collections on Tuesday (25th), Wednesday (26th), Thursday (27th)and Friday (28th) will all take place a day later than scheduled. Teams will be working on the Saturday to catch up with collections.
The collections will also stay the same on Monday 31st December but collections on Tuesday (1st January), Wednesday (2nd), Thursday (3rd) and Friday (4th) will all take place a day later than scheduled, with teams again working on Saturday to catch up with collections.
Subscribers to the garden waste collection service are reminded that collections will take place over the holiday period.
Normal service will resume on Monday, 7th January.
The permanent Recycling Park facilities at Denbigh, Rhyl and Ruthin, will be open to the public as normal every day except 25 December, 26 December and 1 January. Winter opening hours are:
DENBIGH and RUTHIN: Mon – Fri 10am – 4pm. Weekend 9am – 4pm.
RHYL: Everyday 10am – 6pm.
Recycling at Corwen and Llangollen: The Saturday recycling services at the Pavilion Car-Park, Llangollen will take place as normal on Saturday 22 December. However, there will be no Saturday morning services at all on either 29 December or 5 January 2019. This is because all available staff and vehicles will be working elsewhere due to the revised recycling and refuse collection schedule.
Saturday recycling services will recommence as normal at Corwen on 19 January between 9 – 11am and at Llangollen on 12 January between 9 – 11am.
Businesses services from Denbighshire County Council will follow the same unaltered pattern as the household services (see above).
