Natural Resource Wales have released flood warnings for the following areas in North Denbighshire, the warnings were put in force just after 12pm today.

The area alongside the River Elwy from Spring Gardens Bridge to Rhuddlan HTM Business Park including parts of the A547 Abergele Road, A525 St Asaph Road and Station Road.

In addition to the area detailed, some localised flooding problems may result from surface water trapped behind defences and overloaded drainage systems. The rainfall is forecast to continue for at least the next 3 hours and conditions are expected to deteriorate. River levels at St Asaph are rising and are expected to do so for the next 3 hours. Flood defences are now in operation and inspections taking place. Overtopping and/or breaches of these defences may cause flooding to properties at risk.
