Natural Resource Wales has put on areas on North Wales on FLOOD WARNINGS as Storm Caira continues to batter North Wales.

Warnings have been put in place for Lower Denbigh Road alongside the River Elwy from Dol-Belidr to Pen Rhewl including Wigfair, Pont Yr-Allt-Goch, Lower Denbigh Road and Cwrt Wigfair as some localised flooding problems may result from surface water trapped behind defences and overloaded drainage systems. The rainfall is forecast to continue for at least the next 4 hours and conditions are expected to deteriorate. River levels are rising and are expected to do so for the next 4 hours.

The same warning is in place for Glasdir housing estate in Ruthin as more heavy rain is forecast for today, localised flooding problems may result from surface water.
