LISTEN AGAIN to our “The SOUND of VE Day” programme

Friday 8th May 2020 saw the celebrations of 75 years since the end of the war in Europe, or VE Day for short. As part of the celebrations Sound Radio have produced a soundscape to take you back to the celebrations of the end of the war in 1945.
The soundscape includes popular music from the 1940s during the war and classical music, speeches from Winston Churchill and King George VI and news clips.
