North Wales Police were called y Welsh Ambulance Service to an incident in the area of Church Street in Rhyl at 1.38am this morning (Tuesday 13 August), where a man sustained life threatening injuries.
He was taken to hospital, and North Wales Police have cordoned off the area while they carry out an investigation to determine the circumstances.
Denbighshire district Chief Inspector Andrew Williams said, ‘In relation to the incident in Rhyl – the male involved, who is 43 years of age and from the local area, remains in hospital in a serious condition.
“We will soon be releasing the scene in Church Street and we are extremely grateful to the public and the local business community for both their patience, and their help to date.
“We would still very much like people to come forward with any information, particularly if they were in the Church Street area between 1.15am and 1.30am this morning.”
