North Wales weather and flooding update

After nearly 3 days of rain on the North Wales coast more is set to come, with heavy and persistent rain is set to return through the night into early Friday morning. No weather warnings remain in place for North Wales.

There are currently 7 flood alerts in place for parts of North Wales and 1 flood warning in the Llangollen area, you can find out the full list of flood warnings on the Natural Resources Wales website HERE.

Some roads remain closed in the region, these are Pandy Lane and Mia Hall Road both in Dyserth and Maes Llan Road in Ruthin. Valley Lodge to the junction of the B5341 in Llanarmon yn ll remains flooded and should be avoided by drivers.

There has also been reports today of a waterlogged carpark at the Clwyd Retail Park in Rhuddlan, so do drive and walk carefully.
