An overturned lorry on the A55, North Wales Expressway near Llanddulas caused morning delays for commuters on Monday 11th March.
At around 8am between Junction 23 and 24 causing delays after the westbound carriage way was shut to deal with the incident. Traffic built up as far as St George and Boddelwyddfan leaving drivers delayed for over 20 minutes. This lead to tailbacks on the Abergele Straits and heavier traffic through Abergele town as a diversion was put in place.
Traffic Wales kept the Sound Radio Wales Breakfast Show updated with all movement and one lane was reopened with a 40 mph speed restriction in place at around 9am, but still delaying traffic.
