In the past two weeks three attempted robberies, some armed have been made on convenient stores in Rhyl & Prestatyn.
The first happened on Friday 16th November, when two men entered the store and threatened the staff at Londis convenience store on Ffordd Isa in Prestatyn. The two men left with a quantity of cash in the direction of Prestatyn town centre.
A second incident happened 4 days later in Rhyl on Tuesday 20th November, when a man entered the Bridgegate Store on Bridgegate Road in Rhyl brandishing a knife and demanding money. Fortunately nobody was injured and the offender fled empty handed.
Nine days later on Thursday 29th November a third attempted robbery was made at newsagents on Wellington Road in Rhyl, which a male demanding cash but left empty handed.
North Wales Police have asked members of the community to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity around their local stores.
