Police are appealing for information after a thieves targeted vehicles in Prestatyn over night.

Most vehicles were left insecure and offenders stole items including Sat Navs, laptops, bank cards, a rucksack and sunglasses during the early hours of the morning.

“The majority of vehicle crime is avoidable. Opportunist thieves will target vehicles, especially when items are left on display, because they know they will get something out of it. Make sure your car is secured and that all valuables are either removed or hidden out of sight to take away the opportunity.”

Anyone who has information relating to vehicles being targeted or who may have been offered items similar to those stolen is asked to contact PC Madeley at Prestatyn Police Station on 101.
