Rhyl’s new restaurant 1891 is set to the open its doors on Saturday evening and the menu sounds mouth watering!
The 1891, which according to its website is a “contemporary and stylish first floor restaurant and bar located on the waterfront” is under the watchful eye of Head Chef, Aaron Broster who prides himself in sourcing quality ingredients within a 30 mile radius of the restaurant, or where possible from within North Wales.
Here at Sound Radio Wales we took at look at the 1891 menu which is now available to on the website along with the “Coffee & Desserts” menu and “Children’s Menu”. The menu you which is full of homages to Rhyl seems reasonably priced for a “bistro style” restaurant, prices range on main courses from £13 to £22, which is “The Cut” Welsh Sirloin Steak, Buttered Greens, Home cut Chips, Onion Rings, delicious. Vegetarian options are available along with gluten free.
The website is now taking bookings for the opening night and in the future during opening times, you can find details on how to book here.
According to the website the restaurant will only be open during the latter half of the week and weekends, but it will be open when larger shows are appearing at the theatre.
Thursday – Saturday: 3:30pm until late (food served 4:30pm-9:30pm)
Sunday: 12:00pm-9:00pm (food served 12:00pm-7:00pm)
