Do you want to become an RNLI Beach Lifeguard in North Wales this Summer? Keep reading to find out how you can be involved.
The RNLI are running an NVBLQ Course in Denbighshire on 15/05/23-19/05/23 with the assessment day on 21/05/23.
The NVBLQ qualification will allow you to apply for an RNLI Lifeguard post this year
To be considered for the NVBLQ Course, you will be required to attend a pre-course fitness test
You will be required to demonstrate a 400m (16 Lengths of a 25m pool) in under 8 minutes.

As an RNLI lifeguard you’ll build your work – and life – experience, get good rates of pay and learn lifesaving skills that stay with you wherever your career heads next.
You can apply whether you live inside or outside the UK – you need to be 16 and of school leaving age, have a National Vocational Beach Lifeguard Qualification (or equivalent) and meet a specific fitness criteria and have a right to work in the UK
