The RNLI 2019 raft race proved to be a huge hit with both competetors and the public.
Taking the honours this year were the “Sainsbury’s Try Hards”, who won the Povah Cup (Rafts built on the day).
SunnyVale Caravan Park were also successful and won the Campini Cup (Professional built rafts)
But what made the day was just the fun and great spirit from all teams and spectators.
Anton Sampson made his own way into the proceedings by kayak and presented the RNLI (his chosen charity) with a cheque from his term in office as Mayor of Prestatyn.
