A Search and Rescue helicopter was sent to Graig Fawr, Meliden mountain just outside Prestatyn, North Wales to aid a fallen walker at around 2pm on Friday 1st March.
An eye witness recalled that they saw someone fall around 50ft down the Graig Fawr mountain face. The SAR helicopter which is based in Caernarfon, North Wales was seen hovering over the mountain and then winching a person to safety, it is not yet known what injuries were sustained to the walker.
