Stop search in Rhyl leads to man arrested for apparent possession of drugs and a blade

North Wales Police conducted a stop and search on a main road outside of Rhyl’s town centre.

On Thursday 4th June it was reported by North Wales Police on social media, following a stop search on Grange Road Rhyl, on a 28 year old male, believed to be originally from the Blackpool area.  According to North Wales Police, he was arrested and charged with possession with intent to supply, as well as possession of a bladed article and a sharply pointed article.




Sgt Kevin Smith said: “This is a reminder to the community that we are acting on the information they provide us to target those that are engaging in crime and we will pursue those and put them before the courts.”
“We want to thank the community for their continued support and ask that they carry on providing us with information to enable us to make the area a safer place to live.”

The male was due to appear before Mold magistrates court on Friday 7th June.
