Are you a train enthusiast or just looking for something to do in your spare time that is rewarding?
Rhyl Miniature Railway have had lots of success in the last few years having more than doubled the number of passengers and opened for extra days. So with the big passenger demand the team have took to social media to help find more people to come forward as volunteers to help keep the Rhyl Miniature Railway running.
The railway are looking for people to be trained up to help out in all departments, such as running the trains by being guards, working behind the scenes helping to keep on top of the maintenance’s of the coaches and locos and the track which could even lead to opportunities of driving the stream trains in the future.
No qualifications are need to do the roles as full training will be given to do any roles at the railway.
The Rhyl Miniature Railway are holding an open day on Sunday 25th March from 11am until 4pm with opportunities to meet the team and find out about volunteering at the Rhyl Miniature Railway.
We will have one of our steam locos running on the day so you can have a taster of the footplate (over 18s only) or try your hand as a guard ( 16 and over)
