Walk-in COVID-19 test centre opens in Rhyl

A walk-in test centre has opened in Rhyl to make it easier for members of the public to get a test closer to home.

Test are only available by appointment using the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board website.

The walk-in testing centre is located on Quay Street car park, near the blue bridge.

An appointment for a test can be made by visiting the Welsh Government website or by phoning 119.



The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are recent onset of:

  • new continuous cough and/or
  • high temperature
  • a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell

Opening times for the next four days

13/11/2020: 2.00pm – 5.00pm
14/11/2020: 10.00am – 5.00pm
15/11/2020: 8.00am – 8.00pm
16/11/2020: 8.00am – 8.00pm
