Sound Radio’s Calls of Kindness

Here at Sound Radio we know how important it is to communicate and hear a friendly and familiar voice.

In the past few weeks during lockdown we have seen many posts from our listeners discussing how lonely they are feeling due to being at home alone or by missing the interaction and socialising with people, we have also seen the tremendous work our key workers are doing in North Wales, from the NHS to supermarket checkouts during this difficult time.

In order to show gratitude to our Key Workers in North Wales and to help raise spirits to those who are find the time during lockdown difficult we have set up a new service to keep North Wales talking we have created “Sound Radio’s Calls of Kindness”.

Sound Radio’s Calls of Kindness will let people record their messages of gratitude to Key Workers or to leave a message for family members or friends.  We’ll play out the recorded messages on our twice weekly show, Sunday at 10am and Thursday at 8pm just after the weekly Keyworkers Clap.

You can leave your message now by calling us on 01745 28 96 56 (Calls charged at your standard network rate).
