Myles Williams, aka M – Double – U found a connection to music early on in his life and started writing songs at the young age of 17. Myles started to create music as a positive way of channeling the thoughts and feelings he was having, like a lot of men in Wales Myles struggled with his mental health and turned to music as a kind of therapy.
As an artist he clearly wears his heart on his his sleeve and it really shows with his incredible track ‘Dark Days’. In his own words, M Double U told Sound Radio Wales,
“I wanted to write a song that was hard hitting and direct about the stigma that surrounds mental health in men and share some of my own thoughts to help others know that it’s okay to not be okay and to admit you need some help.”And that is exactly what he did, from gripping lyrics to a solid beat you won’t forget ‘Dark Days’ has it all! The subject matter is raw and real and his over all message is frankly beautiful!
The track has been received very well and took over our charts becoming number 1 on Sound Radio Wales this week.
