If you have been out and about today (20/04/23) and have wondered what the low flying plane has been doing over the North Wales coast we have done the research for you thanks to Flight Radar 24
The aircraft flying back and forth is a Bioflight. What is a Bioflight?
From Bioflight’s website : “Bioflight is an independent company with a strong relation to environmental flights in connection with offshore wind farms and wildlife monitoring programs, but has been frequently engaged in firefighting, agriculture, forestry, Navigation mapping, powerlines and LIDAR inspections.”
It is unclear what the aircraft was mapping and collecting data for? The tourist tax maybe? How many caravans can Towyn hold? The possibilities are endless.
