North Wales Police were seen today conducting road checks near Nant Hall Road in Prestatyn. It comes after changes to the Government regulations in Wales and England as part of a small relaxation of rules following the COVID-19 outbreak in the UK.
As it stands in Wales all restrictions on non-essential travel remain in place. Our tourist attractions, parts of the national park, pubs, restaurants, cafes, caravan, holiday parks and campsites all remain closed.
Police officers in Denbighshire have continued to check for non-essential travel after much confusion between regulations in England and Wales on traveling for exercise.
On Facebook North Wales Police in Denbighshire posted
“Office in Denbighshire have been conducting road checks today ensuring that people are adhering to Government Regulations. Essential journeys only permitted in Wales. We’re working to keep you safe”
