Rhyl to host British Masters 10 mile road running championship event this weekend

Rhyl will play host to the British Masters 10 mile road running championship has part of Run Wales on Saturday 24th February 2018.

The run which will be set along the Rhyl Promenade is set to be a hit with runners at it is flat and a fast course which will help in improving their personal best of 10 miles.  The male course record already sits at 52mins 5 seconds from the 2017 race and the female record is 61mins 2 seconds achieved in 2015.

The race, if weather is good, will begin at the Rhyl Events Arena along the promenade to Prestatyn and back, bad weather result in the race traveling along Coast Road to Prestatyn.

Fun runners will slow take part in the race which begins at 9:15am and 10 milers will begin at 10am from the Rhyl Events Arena, the RNLI Lifeboat station will be used as Race HQ from 8am.

Sadly the event is now full and no more entries will be accepted prior to race day.
