Three arrests made at a property in Rhyl in relation to an assault

Suspicions were raised when armed police were seen at a property in Rhyl during the evening of Tuesday 21st January.  North Wales Police have since confirmed arrests were made after an assault.

Three people were arrested at a property the Hen Afon Road area of Rhyl in relation to an assault.

Two men and a woman remain in custody assisting police with the ongoing enquiries into the assault.

Inspector James Keene said: “Thankfully the injuries sustained by the victim are not believed to be life threatening.”

“We currently believe this to have been an isolated incident, and there is no risk to the wider community but we will have increased patrols in the general area to provide reassurance and to assist with the ongoing investigation.”
