Wheely fun times ahead at Llandudno Pier

Back for the third year and shining bright in Llandudno is the once dubbed ‘Llandudno Eye’. After leaving the town for Sheffield’s Christmas Markets at the end of 2022.

Its a welcome return to the pier, shining like a beacon of light with spectacular light shows on the BIG wheel itself.

Posting on Llandudno Pier’s Facebook page on Saturday 25/03/23 the pier say “It’s Saturday and we have blue sky but more importantly The Wheel is back.Happy Saturday everyone!“. 

Lots of people have left comments of encouragement and sharing memories of there time on the wheel over the last three years. One of those comments comes from the mysterious Mirror Man who was spotted around North Wales last year saying “Is it wheelie back ?? Fantastic“.

Does this mean we may be getting another visit from the Mirror Man here in North Wales this year?

HOW BIG IS THE LLANDUDNO FERRIS WHEEL?

The wheel stands at 69ft (21 metres) high.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN IT HOLD?

The BIG wheel is made up of 18 fiberglass gondolas which are capable of seating up to 108 people, with six passengers to a gondola.

WHERE IS THE FERRIS WHEEL?

Located at the foot of the Llandudno Pier, the ferris wheel lays next to the amusement arcades and can be seen upon your approach to North Parade – LL30 2LP
