Phil was inspired to go into radio in the 1960s by veteran DJ Jack Jackson, and also by those pioneering off-shore radio stations which were around at that time.
Having my own mobile disco in the 70s was exciting too, and also doing a show with Roger Twiggy Day on Piccadilly Radio in 1974!
I began presenting my show on Hospital Radio Clatterbridge in 1973, and 5 years ago, rejoined the station, presenting my weekly Soul and Motown show.

Saz is originally from over the border in Manchester she moved to North Wales in 2006, Saz is always trying new coffees. Saz's Radio debut was in 2011 when she started in Hospital Radio she did a few variations shows including 80s hours, city tales in music, and also live and unscripted. Saz joined Sound Radio Wales in 2018 and now hosts a show that is about championing new and unsigned music.
