Blossom and Bloom :
A project for Mums & babies.
We had Vicky, Charity Founder and Jo, Well-being Hub Co-ordinator join us in the Studio today to tell us a little about their charity & how to access it.
The charity was originally set up during Covid in 2020 in a Bed & Breakfast initially helping 3 Mums. It was apparent that more Mums needed help and guidance and therefore the Charity moved into The White Rose Centre in Rhyl where they opened their Wellbeing Hub. Blossom And Bloom have since opened a new Development Hub on 8th April 2024 & they now have 2 Hubs in The White Rose Centre offering different services.
The Charity is funded by the UK Government, however they are always in need of donations as these help to provide many FREE courses to Mums, parents & all family members wishing to improve their confidence & skills with money, numbers, maths, digital equipment to name but a few!
The Hubs are welcoming, friendly and safe, somewhere for Mums to go to make new friends, socialise and access well-being support as well as having a Swap Shop for baby clothes and other items.
On Well-being Wednesdays Mums can book a lovely pamper session including facials, nails, reflexology or a massage: a charity donation ranging from just £5-10 is required,so very inexpensive.
