Pete’s Program “Back in the Day” takes a stroll down memory lane, talking about the places we went and the things we did as we were growing up. Talking about the pubs, clubs and places we often frequented as well as some of the local characters we met, put together with music from “Back in the Day”.
Pete Mac first got into music and record collecting when his elder brother Stan gave him a record with no label, which was Barbara Lynn’s “Take your love and run” leading to him saving his school dinner money to buy records at school. Amassing over 10,000 records in his garage at one point.
Pete has always been active in the community and voluntary work with volunteer workers. He has achieved the British Telecom award for the Rhyl Recycling project amongst many others.
