Steve Bishop’s Old Record Club

Steve has roots in commercial radio, BBC local radio, community stations, and even Radio Caroline. His style is old school – he prefers CD players, vinyl decks, and tape machines rather than modern digital systems. His influences include artists like Electric Light Orchestra, David Bowie and Queen. He brings his Old Record Club to Sound Radio Monday afternoon's at 2 with his take on music from the late 50s to early 90s for the more discerning ear. Away from the microphone, Steve is a QPR supporter but doesn't know why as they never go and see him when he's bad. A devoted tea drinker — ideally accompanied by a packet of bourbon biscuits.
